Digital Marketing Executive
A new client of CV Screen found CV Screen following an online search and registered a Digital Marketing Executive vacancy.
The company are within the Luxury retail sector and specified that candidates needed to have strong B2C marketing experience within a similar sector.
The role would be situated within a team of six and was replacing a candidate who had been promoted internally.
An advert was posted on the leading job boards, which provided us with over 100 applications. Despite the advert stating that it was essential that candidates should have strong B2C marketing experience for a luxury brand, the vast majority of applicants didn’t have that profile. There were three candidates who were shortlisted and interviewed about the role.
Additionally, CV Screen identified some luxury brands and added these to our search on the CV databases and also LinkedIn – this was more successful, with an additional five candidates responded to our approach.
After, speaking to all eight candidates, we provided a shortlist of five, all of whom secured interviews.
Helen’s previous two roles had been within the luxury sector, one for a well known beauty brand and the other for a leading luxury retailer.
She interviewed brilliantly and was the standout candidate in the process, our client being particularly impressed with the presentation that she delivered at the second stage interview.
The role offers the opportunity to progress and to work for a heritage brand with a fantastic culture and Helen was delighted to accept the role.
